Okay so I am
"this close" to getting a new doctor for me and Audrey. My doctor's office has a retarded staff. And whomever is redoing their computer system, they are retarded as well. The seem to be redoing their computers every freaking time we go in. I have had appointments lost, and things charged when I had payed them and so on. But today may have been the last straw.
I was looking through my wallet to find a card for Stu's doctor appointment, when I found one for Audrey. This says that she has an appointment scheduled for Mon Sept 8th. Let me see I have to schedule her wellness check ups several months in advance because her/my doctor is a very busy woman. So I don't generally remember when the exact date and time is. Which is why most doctors' offices give you a call before the appointment, right?
Anyways I call them up to see how we can fix this problem. And they tell me first off that I shouldn't expect the call to remind me because it is only a courtesy call and they can't always get the calls out that day. But we can schedule another appointment. Can you hold while we look a time up? Sure why not. She comes back to talk to me and places me on hold a few more times... Hmmm It looks like we are a ways out for an appointment. How does December 4th sound....?
DECEMBER 4TH!!!!! What the crap!!!! I want to scream at her. Do they get shots at the 18 month appointment? Is it going to be a problem that she didn't get her shots around her 18 months??? Can she just come in and get her shots with out a visit? So that she stays on schedule? No, she needs to have a wellness check up to determine if she can even have these shots given....
And this doctor is also my Obgyn. So I know that when they need to you can get a doctors visit the very next day to see her. It happened a bit at the end of my pregnancy. But if it is just a wellness checkup or a physical then you have to wait 4 freaking months just to see her. Oh my good freaking heck.... Needless to say I love this doctor but I think I just might have to make a freaking change. Because this is ridiculous. Not only that but they almost always have some sort of problem with our insurance and billing stuff.... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.....
Anyways there is my first rant for quite a while...
BTW the car was totaled and now we have another car that is almost exactly the same... same color, same year, the only thing different is that it is the upgrade model so it has a sun roof.....
