My dear sweet Great- great grandmother. I haven't thought about you much lately. But last night I saw your picture. It was exactly how I remembered you. I miss you greatly. You are an inspiration to me, I hope to one day be as loved as you. And I hope to live as love and happily as you did.
I suppose technically I don't really remember much. As the last time I saw you alive I was 10. But...
I remember your house, your huge backyard, the stairs, the cool bathroom under the stairs, and the cool old toys. I remember your smile. And how you loved all of the kids. I remember your love. You always seemed to be happy. Everyone was always happy to be around you.
Last night as I looked at your picture I felt you give me a hug. I know you still love me. And that you still come around to check out how your grandchildren are doing. No matter how large the family grows. Thank you sooo much for the hug. I suppose I needed it, though I didn't know.
I love you Grandma.

Hello!
I am distant-cousin Bill Crane, grandson of Rod. I stumbled across your page looking up some family history, and I just want to say those are some very true thoughts about your grandma. Our visits to her over the years were the brightest spots for us growing up. Aunt Dorothy, as we called her, was the kindest of people, and that showed in her children as well. I miss her greatly.
BTW- I had no idea about the Wiki bio site. Absolutely great!
Be well,
Bill Crane
